If I could give zero stars I would. The quality of this store since changing owners wow, not in a good way. The staff are nothing but useless with little to no English. The food quality is beyond poor. Wouldn’t even waste my money on the fermenting fruit and veg at exorbitant prices. The deli in which used to be such a positive draw card to this IGA, is beyond gross with no idea what meats are being sold in products. The former Deli staff to be so friendly and helpful which many customers had a fantastic rapport with. Not anymore. Will not shop here again and I’m sure so many other won’t either.

Went to a checkout with 3 items (2 staff on) met with eye roll and told to go to the other checkout- customer with full weekly shop just gets in front. Original lady finishes cutting her box and then calls customer behind me - I asked politely if she could serve me first - told me that she had sent me to the other checkout. I never swore, did not raise my voice or was rude. Was told I was rude and asked to calm down. I very rarely complain but this took the biscuit- terribly bad service. Admittedly it’s usually very good. I’m not happy about it because I was made it to be rude when all I wanted was to be served in Order…..

Since recent change of management/ownership prices has increased greatly and unjustifiably, nearly all the excellent previous staff have gone and "advertised specials" are rarely in stock. We live very close by but don't shop there now except in emergencies. Extremely disappointing change for the worse.

Since this shop changed hands, they’ve jacked up the prices, stopped selling what I buy, and most of the lovely staff have left. I don’t recommend this store any more. Such a shame as I have shopped there since it opened. Short sighted new corporate owners. I’ve now found a much better IGA elsewhere.

I can't believe this store has gone downhill so fast. Should have stayed as the best IGA. Now it is just lots of prepacked uninviting food. Used to be the best deli counter, now just a few salads and lots of pasties and pies that you can get anywhere. Needs to go back to all the made in store things that the deli sold. I would imagine the team that worked in the deli are very disappointed. I hope you take the Best deli award off the wall, you definitely earned it then, but absolutely no way now 😭

This is easily the best IGA in Perth. So much variety and the cooked chooks are out of this world. The Deli manager is an asset to the franchise and goes above and beyond to help his customers.

Due to the management change the prices have increased somewhat which is disappointing. Especially the fruit and vegetable section. The deli section is also pretty average as well in my opinion compared to before the change. Also not a fan of the bright yellow labelling for the specials. Hopefully more feedback changes this.

I've been shopping at Pearsall IGA for over 10 years, even though the prices were higher than other places, I found the staff so friendly and helpful that I continued to only shop there. As I live in Wanneroo I have Coles and Aldi right at my door step and pass Woolworths to get to IGA, since the new owners have taken over, the shop now has to be one of the most unfriendliest and rude places I been. Not only have they forced out all the existing Managers and Staff with some being employed there over 10 years with new staff, with whom many don't seem to understand English to well and can't even be bothered to help you or even say hello back. Not only that the prices have gone through the roof. I will no longer go out of my way to spend a single cent at this place, as all they are interested in is money without the customer service.
